Montessori Card set A1 for the interdependencies lesson. “Where does our bread come from?” Sometimes called economic geography cards.

This lesson emphasizes producers and is meant to show how important each individual is in the free market. Lesson plans are not included, but an answer key is.

I have modernized the producers from the original set.

Includes 10 producer cards:

  • Stocker (Supports Store Owner)
  • Baker
  • Packager (Supports Baker)
  • Miller
  • Farmer
  • Mechanic (Supports farmer)
  • Transporter
  • Transporter
  • Transporter

Includes a title card, control card and backline masters for each of the drawings for students to recreate and/or expand on this cardset.

All cards are labelled on the back for easy sorting and storage.

Command cards are index card size: 3″ x 5″

I store all of my index card sized materials in these plastic envelopes: https://amzn.to/42gMmwi

Kids were soooo interested in learning how the world works. And they were thrilled to try to order them themselves after. Very unique material

I appreciate these updated materials. They are definitely more enticing and relevant than what we had before! It is time for more diverse representation in Montessori materials, and it’s nice to see! Plus, it’s affordable! Can’t beat that. Just also note you have to purchase other interdependencies sets separately. πŸ™‚

This week I presented my second and third graders with the introductory lesson on the concept of interdependencies. We started with the first series; Where Do We Get Our Bread? This set was perfect! Thank you! πŸ™‚
